A Special Family Wedding - Makeup Artist and Bridesmaid

Last July I had a very special bridal makeup, my sister Hannah.  This was a slightly different situation for me, as not only was I the makeup artist to the bride and 3 bridesmaids, I also was a bridesmaid!

We started the day at the beautiful bridal suite at Russets Country House is Chiddingfold where the wedding reception was held.  A glamorous room with lots of light made it the perfect place to apply makeup.  The bride asked for a very natural look drawing attention to her eyes.  Hannah already has long curly lashes and wanted this embellished through the use of individual false lashes.  Myself and the 2 bridesmaids also had very natural makeup.

The weather was on our side as the clouds parted and turned into a beautiful day.  The atmosphere throughout the morning was very relaxed, with the bride and bridesmaids having a nosy around the venue while final preparations were being put in place.

An added bonus to attending the wedding meant that I was able to reapply lipstick in the evening after delicious food had been eaten and scrumpy cocktails consumed.
